Do I really need a doula?
A new parent deserves all the help he or she can get. You may not want to admit it (and I promise, I definitely didn’t!), but the reality is, there are not enough minutes in an hour, hours in a day, or days in a year to accomplish all we feel we need to do, never mind want to do. No matter what kind of super-person you are! Please, let me help you feel a touch less overwhelmed and a touch more empowered as a new parent.
We can’t- and shouldn’t- try to do it all
In our culture, there is so much emphasis on being able to do EVERYTHING. ALL THE TIME. Baby or not. Perhaps many of you may be thinking- “how hard can it really be?” Well, there probably will be a day when baby is calm, the house is clean, and dinner is in the oven. Yes, A day. But for the other 99.9% of them, that’s where I come in.
It’s never too early- AND it’s never too late!
I encourage you to look for a doula that will fit your family and your life. If time allows for an in-person interview, I offer this to all potential clients 100% free of charge and commitment. I want you to feel confident that I am the right fit for you, your baby, and your family.
I recommend looking for your doula earlier rather than later but I know this is not always an option. For those of you that are several weeks in- maybe even months, or if this is not your first child, I can still help! Allow yourself some relief and stop trying to achieve the impossible. I am here for you.
I offer hourly rates, weekly packages, overnight assistance, and gift certificates of all denominations. Click below to find out more.
